Established in 1971, the Foundation has been long associated with milk fluoridation and whilst this remains a priority, in recent years we have been expanding our work into the wider areas of oral disease prevention. Our work, however, reaches beyond this. In particular we provide support to:
- Government agencies for the implementation and evaluation of sustainable population-based prevention programmes;
- Academic institutes to undertake research;
- The World Health Organization to further its essential work in oral health promotion and integrated disease prevention;
- Dental associations / organisations that promote dental public health and oral health research.
The Foundation is seeking to expand further its work and we would be pleased to hear from anyone who may wish to explore the possibilities for collaboration.
