Programme Manager                                                                              

Employment term: Permanent, full-time opportunity 

Salary: £60,000 to £72,000 p.a (depending on experience)
Reports to: Director of Finance and Operations

Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire with hybrid working options, with at least one office-based day per week.

Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays; 7% employer pension contributions; private medical insurance.

About The Borrow Foundation

Our mission is to promote the improvement of oral health primarily in children through the prevention of oral diseases. The Foundation focuses on population oral health and the need to reduce oral health inequalities within and between countries. 

The Foundation provides grants to leading health agencies, government bodies, academic institutions, dental associations, and charities across the world. Through these partnerships, it supports initiatives that improve oral health outcomes, especially for children and vulnerable communities.

About you

You will be passionate about improving oral health outcomes for children worldwide and committed to reducing oral health inequalities. You will bring strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, alongside an understanding of programme and grant management.

About the role

We are seeking a Programme Manager to play a central role in delivering and developing our grant-making and stakeholder engagement activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a respected charity working to improve oral health outcomes through research, partnerships, advocacy, and funding initiatives in the UK and internationally.

The role includes collaboration with international stakeholders including the World Health Organization (WHO) and engagement in conferences, events and advocacy initiatives. 

This is a varied role combining strategic thinking with hands-on programme management within a small and collaborative team environment. The role will require occasional national and international travel.
